The article itself doesn't explain the material, but following the link, I found it's a textile with some fascinating layers: - A top layer that minimises the net heat gain from the surroundings through through a molecular design, then - A silver nanowire layer that acts like a tiny shield against incoming heat (energy), followed by - A wool bottom layer to keep you comfy by moving heat from your skin It's a very clever solution, effectively reflecting?unwanted heat!
