Preventing Heat Stroke
It's summer season going on and there's an alert for #heatstroke . People emphasize upon drinking plenty of #water to avoid it but that's not true. Drinking water will not work for you if you're #sweating excessively. Then what will work for you?
1) ORS ( Oral Rehydration Solution): It will replenish lost nutrients and minerals due to sweating and will not leave you thirsty. It contains Sodium Chloride and Potassium Chloride which are very important ions at cellular levels.
2) Lemon water: It works as same as ORS. It compensates for the lost fluids due to sweat. But, remember not to take #lemon sodas because soda will leave you thirsty and will not even recharge the body.
