Preventative Maintenance In Production Lines

Interact has been working on a new project for preventative maintenance in production lines. Our software developer Rheese has been working on this project by researching and monitoring the vibration and heat changes in an environment so it learns 'normal' behaviour.?

As a result, when there is an unusual vibration or heat change, the system will detect this and send an alarm. Therefore we are spending time teaching the system anomaly detection.?

We are developing this for use in food production lines because ball bearings within motors and moving parts vibrate consistently when the line is in motion. Therefore, changes to the temperature or vibration rate may indicate issues and potential production line failure, costing companies thousands in lost stock or production time.

This type of failure is difficult to detect in standard 'human' ways but is bread and butter to a well-trained anomaly detection system trained to understand patterns related to future line failures. Our system will issue notifications to help businesses avoid costly manufacturing line damage and save money.
