Pretend you are a supply chain pilot!!!

I am totally in awe of commercial pilots of big planes. All the switches, dials, lights, etc they have to be aware of and where things are, at any one moment. A cool profession but one I could never do. I find myself imagining that if I could ever buttonhole a pilot and ask them if he/she really looks at all the dials and indicators, their response would be, a look around ,and say out loud for everyone to hear that absolutely yes they do, and then wink discreetly and whisper discreetly there are a few key ones they watch like a hawk.
I know my speedometer cable broke once and I never replaced it for two years. (To my left 6 ft away are two police officers so please don't out me) My two main measurements to keep me out of trouble were a) go slower than the flow of traffic, and b) the sound of the engine. And you know what? I never saw flashing lights in my rear view mirror.
So if you were a supply chain pilot, what would be the four (yes four- and no more), key indicators you would watch like a hawk to make sure your supply chain is healthy, effective, and getting better? I know what they are for The Fresh Connection, but I'll never tell you unless you play it. But I am interested to hear and chew on what you use or believe should be used out in your industry
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts
