Lufthansa Technik Middle East and Strata Manufacturing Join Forces in Strategic Partnership at Dubai Airshow 2023

Memorandum of Understanding Signed at Dubai Airshow 2023 Paves the Way for Exciting Collaborations

Lufthansa Technik Middle East (LTME), a world-renowned provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, and Strata Manufacturing PJSC (Strata), a leading provider of advanced manufacturing, proudly announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Dubai Airshow 2023. ?The agreement signals a bright future of collaboration to enhance Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) solutions.

This MoU signed by Ziad Al Hazmi, CEO of LTME, and Ismail Ali Abdulla, Managing Director of Strata, signifies a strategic partnership between the two companies, aimed at enhancing the value to customers in the region, combining the strength of both experts in the manufacturing and repair of composite parts, initially focusing on aircraft radome repairs.

Following the signing of the MoU, both companies will immediately commence the formation of a dedicated steering committee. The creation of this committee will ensure that all operations align seamlessly with the overarching goals and objectives of each company. By fostering a strong and organized partnership, this lays the foundation for a robust and fruitful alliance.

In an impressive display of proactive engagement, the collaboration has already been set in motion since August of this year. LTME has harnessed Strata's cutting-edge Autoclave technology to undertake critical repairs on a number of in-service aircraft radomes, exemplifying the immediate impact of this strategic partnership. This combined with LTME's vast expertise in composite repair would enable customers to benefit from shorten lead times and customized workscopes.
