Distinguished Career Contributions

Dr. Rashid began his career as a Mechanical Engineer, earning his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering on November 27, 1993. He was awarded the NST Fellowship by the Government of Bangladesh and held roles as an Assistant Engineer at BMDA in Rajshahi and a Mechanical Engineer at JFCL under BCIC.

Since February 16, 2004, Dr. Rashid has been an integral part of the Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM), starting as a Management Counsellor and subsequently being promoted to Senior Management Counsellor and Head of the Production Management Division. Over the past two decades, he has spearheaded numerous training and academic programs designed to align workforce skills with the evolving demands of industries.
