The President’s Role in Advancing Criminal Justice Reform

Vol. 130 HLRev (published today) contains an article by President Obama on the US criminal law reform where he discusses the need to give second chances to citizens who make mistakes (yes: forgiveness) and the need to enhance trust in law enforcement to promote public safety.

The paper outlines the list of tools for reform, and tasks that have to be solved after Obama leaves the office.

Very interesting! (it seems that this is the first time in history when US President publishes a law review article)
