President Biden and Prime Minister Sunak have officially endorsed the "Atlantic Declaration" aimed at enhancing the bonds between the US & UK

The Atlantic Declaration, which was announced by the two, is a new economic alliance that encompasses topics like artificial intelligence, crisis information sharing, 5G and 6G, and civil nuclear power.

There was the customary "special relationship" love-in, with Biden declaring that "Great Britain is the closest nation to us."

After Brexit, Sunak made an attempt to describe what kind of ally the UK would be to the US: "Confident, proud, and free"

Sunak responds that the Atlantic Declaration is focused on "what we can do to most benefit our citizens as quickly as possible" when asked by the BBC's Chris Mason whether it was an admission that a full free-trade agreement could not be reached.

Both leaders reaffirmed their dedication to helping Ukraine in the long term.

Ben Wallace, the UK's defense secretary, should potentially take over as NATO's top diplomat, Biden responded when asked, adding that the alliance should make that decision jointly.
