Delighted to lecture at the NC Research Campus last night with my research collaborator and friend David Nieman and meet fellow scientist Susan Smith with the UNC Nutrition Research Institute. We presented our findings on the healthy compounds in coffee and the importance of a high-phenol diet with an inspired group of people in Kannapolis, NC. My book, The Coffee Lover’s Diet, has more about our research on the health benefits of coffee. Bet you didn’t know that with the right coffee, your morning cup could be the healthiest part of your day!!! Our study showed robust improvements in mood after a high polyphenol coffee. Dave said the study subjects literally bounded into the lab they felt so much more vigorous. Our best Daktari Coffee was served at the event to rave reviews. A stunning 94 on CoffeeReview.com. 7 年That makes sense actually. I always wondered why different cups of coffee in the morning reacted differently in me. Some with no reaction. So more perky or woke me up more. Though is it just making me more alert which changes my mood?
