Presenting in-meeting-behaviours visually

I didn't start today intending to map out common behaviours in meetings, but a post on Twitter got me thinking.

The result was a set of slides to help meeting participants become more self-aware and able to identify these behaviours in themselves and others. Hopefully they will be useful for those involved in meetings who are charged with encouraging reflection about the efficacy of those meetings.

The thread on Twitter also posited the idea of being able to graph/chart these behaviours during the course of the meeting to provide a dashboard of the in-meeting dynamic. Minutes are often silent on the behaviours (good and bad) and don't help boards reflect on what went well or what could have gone better.

So, at the bottom of this page is a final slide suggesting what a shorthand notation for behaviour in meetings might look like in action.

Do let me know your views.
