PRESENTATION VIA REVIT

Architect, Troubleshooter. Exploring the uncharted realms of Revit, I revel in uncovering unimaginable outputs and merging artistry with software prowess.
Revit stands out as a powerful architectural software choice, captivating architects worldwide with its strong features, particularly its Building Information Modeling (BIM) tool prowess. Its benefits, properties, and dimensions continue to expand, making it indispensable for modern architectural practice.
One of Revit's standout features is its seamless extraction of 2D views from built models. While this might seem straightforward, it represents a significant departure from the laborious processes often associated with traditional CAD software. Despite its apparent simplicity, this capability streamlines workflows and liberates architects from tedious tasks like manual projections and repetitive adjustments during design iterations.
Among many advantages, Extracting schedules is a good option inserting them as an appendix to drawings, and presenting schedule elements like table lines, Headers, and content.

So, Revit has tools that can help us instead of presentation software like Photoshop or Illustrator, and I don’t mean renders here, of course, but the type of presentation like Diagrams or Vector presentation, which is a presentation of the idea with the addition of distinctive colors to an element, or some information.
So we can create ideas outside the box or even imitate some ideas that can be implemented with graphic programs.
Let's look at it, and analyze the way we make a presentation on that software. We will find that we color the walls, hide elements and add others, put a background or several background elements, and use a certain color palette, if we look carefully, we will find that we can achieve it within Revit easily, and even that It allows us to make it a template to use it on several views, unlike what a graphics software will do, it makes you repeat the steps in every drawing and at every modification. As for Revit ?? it can save the desired appearance during all stages of modification, and even facilitates the modification of the presentation style.
We must understand why Revit can make it easily, as a BIM software, Revit understands the model categories. So, it knows walls, Floors, Roofs, Stairs, …. etc. Also, it can color surfaces, outlines, and Inner edges, and change transparency. So, it adds display info to the element as attached data in any view have the template you add.
That’s all for today; see you next time!
