PRESENTATION.
How to deliver a “Mind Blowing” Presentation? Wow, that’s a “super” question, right? Anyway, at least there are three things need to be consider before you perform on stage “spreading the magic” in front of crowd of people by becoming “One Hell of Presenter. Okay, then. Let’s take a good look at them one step at a time. Shall we? First, the voice. Your voice must be clear. It means the words and phrases that you said should be simple and easily understood. How do we do that? Well, try not to use strange vocabulary or any technical and complicated words in order to make an impression that you’re an expert. The simpler you give the examples, the easier the message retained right into the brain of the audience. Next, your voice must be loud enough so that your audience can hear you in crystal clear. However, loud doesn’t mean you have to scream like a rock star or growling like death metal vocalists. Just say the words in medium tone in not too soft and too loud sound. Got the picture? Furthermore, you need to be assertive by having extensive knowledge of the topic that you’re going to present and of course, you must have good preparation. What does it mean? Fulfilling yourself with abundance of valuable information (read=knowledge) makes you master the subject of your presentation and that’s proved you that you made a considerable preparation before you go to the “battle”. Moreover, one thing that also need to ponder is pausing. It’s important to allow the audience by giving sufficient time to digest what you have said. Means, you mustn’t “talk non-stop like a train”. There is a time when you need to take a deep breath, stop talking and look at the surrounding. Now we come to the second point, the words. What you say and how you say it is the key to a successful presentation. In that case you need to state your position. You must to address your position in clear cut and straight forward message. Be confident and show no doubt! After having such strong confident you need to explain your ideas clearly. Never use abbreviations or terminologies and even slang words in order to be funny. All those things will “KILL” you! Finally, the body language. When you’re “on stage” you’re not only talking with your mouth, but also talking by using other parts of your body such as eyes, hands, and your posture. Meaning, during the presentation, your eyes should be directed and pointed to the whole audience completely. Do not pay attention only to some people. You must look all of them in “equal basis”. By doing this, your messages are beautifully captured by them and you don’t need to waste your time by repeating or conveying unnecessary explanations. In addition, in certain situation sometimes you need to use your hands in order to address strong messages, but don’t crazy such as using the fingers like the hip hop boys or the rappers! Just use the hands as the helpful element to make your audience understand you easily. As for the posture, make sure that you maintain a good posture by standing in relax but alert situation. Never ever do “the Hunchback of Notre dame” position. It will “destroy” you. For conclusion: at the end of the presentation you need to sum up all of the explanations that you had already delivered in an effective and efficient way in a form of summary. Provide adequate times in Q&A session by allowing audience to ask you some questions related to the presentation and give them answers that satisfy them. Well, that’s all folks. Hope you can take benefit from this very little knowledge. Thank you very much for reading it. Impress them with your “killer” presentation!
