The Present a gift from Today

The water does its unique dance
Listening quietly sending you into a trance
Freeing your mind to wander and dream
Escaping perceived reality
Quality moments drifting away
Enjoying the notes whilst the water plays
Ripples of emotion stored for pleasant memories
Blending the perfume of the roses in bloom
The scent on the breeze moving towards you
Basking in the sun enjoying the warmth on your skin
Loving the beauty of the surrounding gardens
The mountain view and cotton wool clouds
Vibrant colours viewed safely in the shade
Whilst you sip your fresh lemonade
Ice cold and refreshing it is too
It does the job of cooling you down
The love of nature all around
Time to shut my eyes and dream
Blues, oranges, pinks and greens
Natures magical pallet that never fades
An artists vision of better days
Comfy on my sun bed
The right place to relax and rest my tired head
Whilst my mind wanders away
Enjoying the present a gift from today :) x
