Prerequisites to start with Sitecore latest version (Sitecore 10+)

What is Sitecore ? First consider Sitecore as a software which enables you to control the content of the website which is also known as Content Management System (CMS).

Sitecore is purely based on the .Net Framework so it is heavily depend on Microsoft Technologies. If anyone is more familiar with Asp.Net Web Forms or MVC can easily learn and pitch in with this particular CMS.

Prerequisites :

Sitecore 10+ version is the latest in the market so we will take this version as a consideration.

Now Sitecore provides you with the trial license for 60 days but once you request it might take 2-3 working days to receive it.

To download the Sitecore setup file, we will need to create an account in Sitecore. Initially it was only for Certified developers who were able to download the setup files but now Sitecore has decided to give the trial period of 60 days for beginners.
