Cyber criminals target businesses of all sizes, but small and midsized organizations that may not have stringent security protocols are particularly vulnerable to cyber threats. We’ve found that even though more than half of the small and midsized business owners we surveyed said cyber threats were among their top concerns, less than half of them said they regularly reviewed their data security plans and practices.
As part of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, the Travelers Institute is reminding entrepreneurs to make sure they have an effective cyber plan that is tested regularly. The Travelers Institute’s cyber guide offers tips and tools for developing a plan, including how to prepare for and respond to a cyber incident. Additionally, the Travelers Institute holds its Cyber: Prepare, Prevent, Mitigate, Restore? symposia series across the U.S. and Canada for public and private sector cyber professionals and business owners to share insights.
All businesses are at risk of a cyber incident — make sure your business is prepared to respond.
