Preparing Our Youth for the Real World- Employment Coaching
How can you as an educator or parent ensure that your high school or college students are ready for the job market? Is their resume unprofessional? Can they answer interview questions appropriately and with confidence? Do they lack proper interview etiquette? Do they know which direction they want to go and how to get there?
Many students graduate from high school and college with little or no real life skills and enter into the job market unprepared. They may have a Master's Degree with honors and be able to ace Calculus tests in their sleep, but without the proper training, employers may pass them up due to their lack of professionalism. Which means they may end up living in their parent's basement for far too long!!!
I offer career coaching to small groups and individuals. My training is based on my experience, education, and perspective as a Human Resources Professional, Recruiter, and from my personal experiences as an employee.....the good, the bad, and the ugly. My goal is to prepare our youth in obtaining their career goals and to help them discover their personal empowerment.
