Calling all marketers, sales reps, and [engineers?]:
Chris Cochran , Dani Woolf , and George Kamide cover all this and more! Dani and George aren't just guessing at these answers. These findings come straight from their 2023 RSA Conference Messaging Analysis and Buyer Research Report. This conversation was loaded with practical tips for companies of all sizes, so you don't need a 7 figure budget to apply these insights!
The TL;DR?
To get better ROI, qualified leads, and open doors to future partnerships, vendors need to shift the focus from quantity to quality. This starts with creating spaces for deeper conversations at your booth, empowering your booth staff to genuinely connect with people to qualify them (making it okay to NOT scan everyone), and having time to write notes on leads (and breathe!).
Preparing for RSA is a lot like preparing for BlackHat. In this video, Chris and Ron share how to network effectively, position yourself for job opportunities, and seal deals in a win-win. These tips are spot-on for practitioners attending any major cyber conference!

1 年Love this!! I'd also add: 1. Wear layers -- it's summer outside, but it feels like winter in some of the breakout spaces. 2. Carry a bag so you're hands-free as much as possible. 3. Have a plan of attack/itinerary in mind each day to avoid arriving late or missing your must-see talks and booths. 4. Coordinate a singular drink or coffee "meet-up" and invite all the people you'd like to see while you're there. It's difficult arranging separate meet-ups and trying to get face time with everyone individually. It also gives your network an opportunity to network with each other ??
