While AI is revolutionizing many scientific domains, including medicine, it serves as an augmentation rather than a replacement for human expertise. The technology offers unprecedented speed and precision in data analysis, diagnosis, and treatment planning, but it functions best when paired with human intuition, empathy, and critical thinking—traits that machines cannot replicate. Medical professionals bring contextual understanding, ethical considerations, and a holistic approach to patient care that AI, with its current limitations, cannot fully grasp.
