The world is covered in green leaves, broken tree limbs (often from downed trees), drooping power lines, streetlights and signs askew, and more than 350,000 people and businesses of Tulsa County alone have no power.
The 15 buildings of our complex which is on a hardened grid of the former home of American Airlines Sabre System are also dark.
We checked that staff were safe yesterday and announced that we would work remotely and not report to the office.
Major clients were contacted this morning for Storm Protocol, as a welcome reminder that systems were up and we were available as usual.
All systems are dispersed through multiple clouds, so we'll have Delta training as usual this morning going over the timely procedure of business continuity for new staff.
While our counterparts have many clients down because of dependence on their facilities, we'll conduct business as usual and so will our clients.
Daily Mission:?Practice your business continuity plan or personal contingency for inclement weather.
