Prepared for peak!

Our industry is about to enter it's busy period and with online sales set to hit a record high we have been preparing ourselves for the challenges of peak.

Having invested heavily into diecutting and revolutionary double sided print capacity the bottleneck through peak quarter 4 at the tail end of last year was multipoint gluing which saw seasonal spikes of 400-500% in a large proportion of volume we service

The key to our success over the years has been our ability to be flexible, responsive , creative and reliable. Recognising that this bottleneck left us in a position not able to maintain these core values through peak quarter on crashlock glued volume, we have made further significant invenstment in a new gluer.  Our new Vega Altair 240 – a 2.4m wide high speed gluer is a specialist machine for large format multiglued cases.

To supplement this we now also have another 50,000 sqft of warehousing space which gives us options to produce batches in higher volume and deliver from stock. During the latter part of 2018 we will be rehoming our design team to new offices above our warehousing facility. The new location for design will include a customer innovation centre where we can offer our customers practical advice regarding product re-engineering, smart use of raw materials and innovative design concepts.
