In the wake of the EU Green deal, the European Commission adopted the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.?The CSRD is much broader in scope and includes more detailed reporting requirements, with a much greater focus on ESG-related disclosures. This type of data is much more expansive than many other metrics companies are familiar with tracking which can bring complex challenges.
The new directive will?apply to all EU-based organizations who have 2 of the below:
In addition, non-EU companies that have a turnover of above €150 million in the EU will also have to comply.

Global energy volatility is driving a need for energy supply security. Meanwhile,?the rise in corporate interest and competition in renewable projects?combined with global supply chain disruptions, inflation, and rising interest rates are making some renewable projects more expensive to develop.
