By Oliver Baar, Director of Product Management, Commercial,?Koenig & Bauer Digital & Webfed
Worth £112.9 billion in 2024, and tipped to experience a growth rate of 5.5% to 2029 by Smithers, the industrial and decorative print sector potentially offers many attractive market opportunities.
How to excel in this growth market is the focus of the new DIPA (Digital Printing Association) Academy expert-led online Master Decorative Print course.
DIPA takes a holistic view of the individual surface design process and wants to make digital printing accessible to as many users as possible as an innovative process. Its most important goal is to make digital printing accessible as an innovative process and works with a number of manufacturers to achieve that.
Among them is Koenig & Bauer which is a founder sponsor of the academy. As such I am excited to be one of the guest presenters. We will discuss the challenges in successfully printing decorative products with both analogue and digital processes.
We will also provide practical support including a feature a video overview of engraving in a production environment as well as a demonstration of one of the first digital production printers for the decorative industry in action.
It will be one of 10 sessions lead by industry experts who will also share their knowledge and lead insightful discussions and demonstrations on the latest techniques and technologies that are shaping the future of print design.
