PREFABRICATION

Nowadays, more and more prefabrication have been applied on architecture market. Why so much prefabricated integral slabs have been popularized by compulsion?

Theoretically, prefabrication will be much more advanced and a universal standardized metric code units would be better applied globally in the future. But, there are diverse application results from difference places.

As the picture shows, the prefabricated composite panel is 60 mm thick, finished floor thickness will reach 140 mm.

These composite panels prefabricated, just like large patches, would be embedded in the slab from under. Although they would be connected with the upper reinforcing bars, but they cannot truly be integrated with cast - in - place concrete slab in the end.  

What more ironic is that like such assembled composite slabs would be demanded to reach seismic parameters of equality to the directly pouring slabs on the spot.
