Summer is in full swing, and with the arrival of warm weather, we’ve experienced significant achievements and progress across all departments. Here’s a roundup of our highlights and updates from the past few weeks.?

Over the past month, our Technology and Data Science teams have been making remarkable strides. The tech team has finalised several key projects, including Azure integration, data transformation work, the Kanban transition, and various headcount and R&D initiatives. They’ve also tackled ISO documentation and performance fixes. Additionally, we’re seeing smooth progress in our integration efforts with clients.?

Meanwhile, our Data Science team has made significant progress on multiple fronts. They’ve completed the initial model framework for a valued client and advanced in forecasting. Workshops and data discoveries have been conducted, and we’ve improved the ML ingestion pipeline and tasks for BQ migration. Furthermore, automated read/write capabilities for standardised core tables have been implemented to speed up future modelling. Excitingly, they’re working on a proof of concept for using web-connected LLMs for research data.?

We recently visited Sweden to collaborate with a valued client and ensure our predictive models are perfectly tailored to their specific needs. This visit marks a significant milestone in our journey to expand our global presence and deliver top-notch predictive analytics solutions worldwide.?

We are also proud to announce the launch of our subsidiary company, Predyktable Inc., to facilitate trade with the United States. This strategic move will enable us to better serve our clients across the Atlantic and continue to provide exceptional service and innovative solutions.?

Roundtable Session?

Our CEO, Phillip, recently participated in a dynamic roundtable session focusing on the “Value of Owned IP and What Funders & Investors Are Looking For?”. The event, hosted at the iconic Factory International by MediaCity Immersive Technologies Innovation Hub x Turing Innovation Catalyst Manchester, was an enriching experience. We delved into discussions about the value of owned IP, investor expectations, and the hottest trends in the creative industries with an incredible group of professionals.?

Welcome Shuyi Lin , our latest addition to team Predyktable! Shuyi has joined as a Senior Data Scientist. She is a cultural enthusiast and a dedicated team player with extensive experience as an applied scientist and data scientist in both industry and academia. Her solid skillset in deploying up-to-date data-driven solutions into production environments will be invaluable to our team.?

In her last role as a senior algorithm engineer, Shuyi applied data-driven methods to tackle e-commerce business challenges. She has significant expertise in big data analysis, machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning algorithm R&D. Her work has focused on customer profiling, inventory management, and supply chain solutions within e-commerce settings. With Shuyi's expertise, we are excited to elevate our predictive analytics capabilities to new heights.?

Additionally, we have two new hires joining our tech team soon, further strengthening our capabilities and enabling us to take on even more ambitious projects. These new team members bring a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives, which will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and expand our services.?
