This time of year is always a good time for reflection – and anticipation of what’s to come.

In this blog I discuss what is on the horizon for the ICT industry and standards development. How M2M and IoT is creating a vast volume and velocity of change in our industry. However without direction volume and velocity will not provide motion; the standards we are developing support the solutions we will need for an ever increasingly connected world.

Your insights are invaluable, working on the AV space, I wonder when all the conversation we are having about compression to fit signals in a 10g network will become irrelevant when 40g becomes the norm in premises ethernet....but 8k is coming, lots of fun for the future
