Dubai has already built a few islands in the sea that are close enough together, with each one having a specific style. What is missing here is connecting these islands and providing private transportation for the people who live in the million-dollar villas. They prefer to avoid the city's traffic, and Dubai aims to increase its population. The government has announced the Air Taxi, a special drone shaped like a taxi that can fly. They plan to start offering this service as soon as possible, approximately in 2026. The California-based air-taxi company announced Sunday that it has signed an agreement with the Dubai government to begin operating air taxis in the United Arab Emirates in 2026, with some operations beginning as early as next year.
I've considered all the possibilities that could bring a more useful and specific way to travel between the islands, stopping at any beaches, tourist spots, or important locations nearby. I believe tunnels under the water could be a great option for people. Even considering RAK's plans to build luxury casinos and hotels for entertainment, many wealthy individuals would visit, seeking fun and entertainment. If you check the locations of the most luxurious hotels, you'll see they are often near the sea and close to Palm Jumeirah and Palm Jebel Ali, even inside the islands. When rich people want to have fun, security and comfort are paramount considerations. How can you provide these two factors? Offering private and comfortable transportation options such as the Air Taxi or installing helipads on the casinos, which is common practice, would be beneficial. Tunnels under the water are also a viable option—fast and secure, especially when traveling with expensive attire or when transferring large sums of money.

Another reason to have tunnels under the water is to decrease traffic and keep the air cleaner by reducing the number of cars in the city. With the introduction of air taxis, the advantages and disadvantages are not yet clear. It may seem like I only mentioned wealthy individuals with significant incomes, but logically, if people use tunnels and air taxis, what will happen to traffic? It will decrease. Even those using cars to travel on highways will reach their destinations faster. It's good to separate and categorize people based on transportation options. This is how traffic can be controlled and people can reach their destinations faster.
Dubai is poised to build more and develop further plans on the sea and under the sea. You just need to follow the steps, plans, and news to predict what might happen. It should align closely with logic, but you have to be aware that since we discovered AI, everything can seem logical, even if it's not. Dubai is the first country looking to integrate AI more and more into its infrastructure to grow faster. Does this sound logical?
