Prayers for Americans and my friend John Teichert in 2023 and beyond

Good Morning Americans.

Last year God brought to my life, the recently retired Under Assistant Secretary of the Airforce, John Teichert- a brigadier general who served in the United States Air Force since 1994, and who was saved by grace through faith in Christ in 2004.?He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University, and has commanded at the wing, group and squadron levels. The Lord has blessed his career while burdening his heart with the need for our nation to return to its Christian foundation.?He serves alongside his amazing wife of 24 years and their three incredible children.?It is their desire to fully invest their lives to maximize their impact on people and on our nation for the Lord.

God Has brought us together before his retirement and we became friends. John reminds me of an inspirational, God-driven leader in the history of the US Martin Luther King Jr.. He was a Baptist minister and civil rights activist who played a key role in the American civil rights movement from the mid-1950s until his assassination in 1968. He advocated for nonviolent resistance to racism and segregation, and is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using the tactics of nonviolence and civil disobedience based on his Christian beliefs. He also gave several iconic speeches, most notably the "I Have a Dream" speech, which has been widely recognized as a turning point in the Civil Rights Movement and continues to be an inspiration for people around the world today.

John Teichert is an inspirational, God-driven leader and his ministry of Pray at Lunch, that aligns with the topics listed in the first list of prayers, which includes various issues related to the healing of a divided nation, the guidance and success of political leaders, a return to righteousness and a strong foundation in Christianity, safety and prosperity for all citizens, the protection of religious freedom and persecuted Christians, strong Christian families and communities, and a renewed focus on God's presence in all aspects of society. He also has resemblance with Civil Rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr who is an inspiration for people around the world today.
