Jack Ma, the founder of #Alibaba, was none other than this little #youngster. This well-known Chinese e-commerce giant announced a net profit of CN 71.46 billion in March 2016. While Jack Ma's astounding narrative of going from making dollar 12 a month to becoming a #multibillionaire is undoubtedly a rags-to-riches tale, he prefers to credit his brilliant #success to unwavering labour rather than a stroke of good #fortune.

And today, a young man's almost stubborn tenacity in defying fate has finally paid off. It was no great surprise when Jack Ma was recently named the #wealthiest person in all of China and one of Asia's top billionaires.

I was pursuing my teacher certification in high school English. I was voted student body president at my institution and then took the helm of the city's Students Federation.

Any child's self-esteem can be seriously impacted by finishing last in class, making them feel entirely unworthy. Although he is the #CEO of a central computer #business, Jack Ma has always struggled with math. Before getting admitted to a small institution, he failed many school courses and twice the university test. Fortunately for him, he had a realisation that comforted him: getting high grades doesn't mean you're intelligent or #motivated. Names like Rabindranath Tagore, Abraham Lincoln, and Albert Einstein confirmed his conviction that intellectual ability is not restricted to the classroom. He never lost the conviction that his superiority lay elsewhere. Later, Ma even submitted ten separate applications to Harvard University, all of which were denied.

This proves that his objective was to keep taking on a seemingly #impossible problem and trying to solve it in many ways rather than just getting a seat.
