Praising God In Middle Of Problems !!!
There are so many distressing situations and problems in our lives. Many times we face long sickness, weak financial conditions, broken relationships, partiality at the workplace, and so on. What do we do when you face any of such situations? We complain to God. We ask, argue, and sometimes fight with God that - why with me only? But I personally believe that our responses to these types of situations and problems are very crucial. How do we respond to these situations? What do we do in these situations? Do we take some wrong decisions? Do we become depressed? Do we become addicted? Unfortunately, we do all these types of things, instead giving these situations to the God. What happens when we give these difficult situations and problems to God.
When we give our problems to God, we prise Him. Now, you would think how giving our problems to God is praising God. Well, let me tell you praising God does not mean merely saying of "Praise the Lord", "Thank you God" and such other terms. Mathew 15:8 says, "This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me" Whenever we are put in some difficult situations, problems we become dull and fear of these things. Our enemy wants us to do wrong in problems and troubles. But we do not realise the impact of praising God and receiving His strength. It is like flowing electricity when we switch on. Psalm 8:2 says, "Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger." We can receive strength from the word of God. We can defeat the enemy by the word of God.
A person who always meditates on scripture and praises the God can experience God's grace. On the contrary a person who always meditates on problems and fear of them remain aloof from God's grace and commit something wrongful.
Below are some vesrse to ponder upon in difficult situations:
Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
