The University of Oxford Sustainable Private Markets Conference, which took place on Monday, is not like other industry conferences. Organised by professor of financial economics Ludovic Phalippou and conducted under Chatham House Rules, it brought together leading figures from the worlds of academia and industry. Attendees were provided with a series of quick-fire presentations on research papers, each followed by the opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions.
