HE COMMANDED THEM TO WAIT...Here's why.....Go with me please in your Bibles to Psalms 62:1 which says; "Truly my soul waiteth upon GOD"....
I WANT TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT THIS BECAUSE IF YOU REALLY WANT TO HAVE POWER IN YOUR LIFE, THIS IS HOW IT STARTS, SIMPLE, YET DIFFICULT, that's because NO ONE WANTS TO DO IT, BECAUSE THE FLESH HATES IT!
"THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD"...
JUST BARE WITH ME A MOMENT LET ME GET MY PHONE TO SHOW YOU HOW I DO THIS. IT'S SO SIMPLE! I did this while I was here, night before last and again last night after the service! THIS IS THE KEY TO POWER! If you really want me to give it to you I will. You accept it or not accept it, that's up to you.
The Bible says, "My soul WAITS upon The Lord because From HIM comes my salvation meaning my deliverance."
NOW! WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO WAIT! BECAUSE THE BIBLE SAYS WE ARE TO WAIT! And... WAIT MEANS TO WAIT!!! Many preachers have messed this up talking about Waiting means preaching! NO IT DOES NOT! IT MEANS TO WAIT!!!You look at the Hebrew word it means TO SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP!.... WAIT! THAT'S WHAT IT MEANS! Like you wait for a doctor, or a Lawyer or some guy to see you and talk to you, WAIT!!!
YOU'LL ASK WELL WHAT DO I DO? NOTHING! WHAT DO YOU MEAN NOTHING? GOD IS NOT BLIND HE CAN SEE YOU THERE. AND AS YOU WAIT, YOUR FLESH WILL BEGIN TO WITHER AWAY!
WHY DO WE WAIT? BECAUSE IN WAITING, Your FLESH BEGINS TO LOSE IT'S FORCE over you!
LET ME JUST GIVE YOU A FEW SCRIPTURES ON THIS BECAUSE IT'S SO POWERFUL!
Psalms 130:5; says, "I WAIT for The Lord, my soul doth WAIT!" ....SOUL means; my emotions, my will, my intellect COMES TO A PAUSE AND I SIT *STILL!
YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND HOW SIMPLE THIS IS AND HOW PROFOUND!
So The Scripture says; "I WAIT for The Lord my soul doth WAIT. IN HIS WORD <Key> DO I HOPE."...BUT… I'VE GOT TO WAIT!
Then you have Psalms 25:5; which says, "On Thee do I WAIT" IF IT TAKES ALL DAY WHO CARES! BECAUSE HE SAID IT!!....Psalm 25:5; "Lead me in Thy Truth, Teach me for Thou art The God of my Salvation, ON THEE DO I WAIT *ALL *THE *DAY!"
GOD WILL NOT LET YOU WAIT ALL DAY BECAUSE HE KNOW HOW IMPATIENT YOU ARE, SO HE SHOWS UP JUST BEFORE YOU CRACK!!! BUT YOU HAVE TO WAIT!
LISTEN, I HAVE TO DO THIS BECAUSE THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I KNOW HOW TO TOUCH GOD!
TOUCH means to connect with God, to communicate with Him in His same Spirit and His same truth
LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, YOU CANNOT SEEK THE LORD, THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! IN WAITING, GOD *QUICKENS YOU TO SEEK HIM! BECAUSE WHAT WAITING DOES IS, IT ENABLES GOD TO*QUICKEN YOU.
Psalms 80:18 says, and this is a powerful Scripture....IN THE PSALMS, DAVID MAKES AN AMAZING STATEMENT! HE SAYS, *QUICKEN ME AND THEN I WILL CALL ON YOU! *QUICKEN ME! So now, we will not go back from YOU, *QUICKEN us and Then we will call upon THY NAME!....YOU CANNOT PRAY RIGHT UNTIL GOD *QUICKENS YOU!
WHEN DOES HE QUICKEN YOU? ??WHEN YOU ARE COMPLETELY QUIET!....
(To Quicken you means to draw your spirit into HIS MANIFEST PRESENCE!)....
AND, YOU WILL *KNOW THE MOMENT HE QUICKENS YOU! All the noise from your flesh will be shut out....you’d become God conscious and very aware of His presence and beautiful peaceful atmosphere encompassing your entire being.....
But, you say, What do I do? I will get bored! NO, NO! I WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO DO THIS! IT'S SO SIMPLE AND MARVELLOUS IN FACT!
BUT, LET ME JUST GIVE YOU A FEW MORE SCRIPTURES!
Isaiah 33:2 says; "Be Gracious unto us we've WAITED for YOU."....GOD CANNOT SHOW HIS GRACE WITHOUT YOU WAITING!....
LOOK, I'M TALKING ABOUT WAITING, JUST WAITING UPON THE LORD! DO YOU WANT TO RENEW YOUR STRENGTH OR NOT? DO YOU WANT THE POWER OF GOD YES OR NO? WELL, I'M GIVING YOU THE SECRET....*WAIT!!!!
"They that WAIT upon The Lord...Isaiah 40...shall renew their strength and then they shall rise up with wings as Eagles, they'll run and not be weary, they'll walk and not faint!" BUT YOU'VE GOT TO WAIT!!!! YOU HAVE TO DO IT! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE! YOUR FLESH WILL FIGHT AND HIT AND SCREAM, DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT! JUST WAIT AND LET THE FLESH VANISH!
Isaiah 33:2; "Lord be gracious unto us we have WAITED FOR YOU!".....GOD CANNOT BE GRACIOUS NOR CAN HE BE YOUR STRENGTH FROM TROUBLE UNLESS YOU WAIT!
Psalms 37:7 says;"REST IN THE LORD AND WAIT PATIENTLY FOR HIM." <?KEY
?>NOW, THINK ABOUT WHAT'S AT STAKE HERE! ?KEY> WITHOUT WAITING, THERE IS NO POWER IN YOUR MOUTH=your words!...NO POWER IN YOUR MOUTH… THEN ANGELS ARE WEAKENED IN YOUR BEHALF=angels cannot act on your behalf because they ONLY RESPOND TO GOD’S WORDS, HIS COMMANDS, HIS INSTRUCTIONS... When the ANGELS are WEAKENED, DEMONS WILL BE STRENGTHENED THAT’S because you've spoken from your own authority!.. THEN YOU ARE going to be RUINED!....THAT’S BECAUSE IT ALL BEGINS WITH WAITING!...

Look at Psalms 42:7-8 for a second please. This is so powerful!
"Deep calls unto deep at The Voice of Thy waterspouts. All Thy waves and Thy Billows are running over me."
What does this mean? It means, The Presence of God is like waterspouts. Waterspouts are basically these Tornadoes churning in the Ocean that sucks the water right out!
<NOTE> So when you BEGIN TO *WAIT, GOD creates around you a waterspout AND YOU BEGIN TO BE LIFTED UP INTO ANOTHER REALM HIS MANIFEST PRESENCE...BEFORE HIS THRONE...INTO THE HOLIES OF HOLIEST...THE SECRET PLACE, HIS BOSOM, THE HIDING PLACE!!

A waterspout is an intense columnar vortex that occurs over a body of water, connected to a cumuliform cloud. In the common form, it is a non-supercell tornado over water.

THIS WAS TO JUST GIVE US A SMALL EXAMPLE OF HOW HE WAITS FOR HIS SPIRIT TO BE *QUICKENED UP BEFORE THE LORD'S THRONE OF GRACE...INTO HIS MANIFEST PRESENCE !!! .....
Then he goes on to share that WHEN HE'S QUICKENED, AT THAT MOMENT, HE CAN COMMUNE WITH THE LORD....This is where The Scriptures Says; "DEEP CALLS UNTO DEEP AT THE NOISE OF THY WATERSPOUTS, THY BILLOWS=YOUR WAVES HAVE GONE OVER ME."
And then he says; "For The Lord Will Command HIS LOVING KINDNESS IN THE DAYTIME and in The night HIS songs shall be with me."
He explains, That's because, the minute I'm QUICKENED = invited...IT'S ONGOING QUICKENING! NOT JUST FOR A FEW MINUTES!....
THEN SUDDENLY, THE EMPTINESS, THE NOTHINGNESS THAT HAVE BECOME REALITY BRINGS STRENGTH! BECAUSE WHAT HAPPENS IN WAITING...OUR EMPTINESS, OUR NOTHINGNESS, SUDDENLY CHANGES INTO STRENGTH!.....Are you listening to what Pastor Benny is saying?...BECAUSE YOU REDUCE YOURSELF IN WAITING! Turn to Isaiah 30 and look at verse 15 with me. This Scripture says; "For Thou saith The Lord, The Holy One of Israel, In RETURNING and REST shall ye be SAVED....IN QUIETNESS AND IN CONFIDENCE SHALL BE YOUR STRENGTH!.....
But you would NOT! You don't Want It!...YOU DON'T WANT TO BE QUIET! WHAT YOU WANT TO DO IS BE LOUD! THAT'S NOT THE WAY THIS WORKS!
A man named Peter Jacobs said to me, Benny, I'm going to pick you up at 5 in the morning so make sure you are ready! I said, okay, I'll be ready. 5 in the morning came, I'm up and I have no clue where I'm going, he's a mighty saint of God, great man of God picked me up. This is 1973, 72 somewhere there. I'd just gotten saved that year of '72 so this had to be early '73. So he picked me up at 5am and drives me into the forest, outside Toronto, an hours drive and you are in no mans land, just trees everywhere! So he parks the car and walked through the woods for a good half an hour. So now, we are surrounded by trees and animals here and there and birds, you name it! Then Peter said to me, I'll be right back! I'm thinking, O my God! Where is he going? I'm thinking he's going to go and do something behind a tree, go to the bathroom! Now I'm standing in this forest by myself Peter’s gone! But what he did was, he went away and hid behind a large tree watching me! Now, I'm by myself and it's about 6:30am in a forest, nobody there! Five minutes passed, 10 minutes passed, 15 minutes passed AND I BEGAN TO FREAK OUT...THINKING, THIS MAN'S LEFT ME, I'M GOING TO DIE, I DON’T KNOW MY WAY BACK...HE'S GONE TO HIS CAR AND LEFT ME IN THIS WILDERNESS, NO WAY OUT, NO WAY TO GET BACK HOME!!! SO I BEGAN SCREAMING! PETERRRR WHERE ARE YOU!!!! HE JUMPS FROM BEHIND A TREE NOT FAR FROM ME AND SAID....SEE! YOU CANNOT KEEP QUIET FOR MORE THEN 15 MINUTES! SO I SAID, WHAT DID YOU BRING ME HERE FOR? HE SAID, I BROUGHT YOU HERE TO TEACH YOU A LESSON! I SAID, WHAT LESSON?
And then he said This to me...LISTEN...HE SAID DL MOODY SAID, IF I CAN TAKE A MAN AND KEEP THAT MAN QUIET FOR 5 MINUTES AND HAVE THAT MAN THINK ABOUT HIS SOUL, I'LL GET HIM SAVED!
HE SAID BENNY, I BROUGHT YOU HERE TO TEACH YOU THE POWER OF SILENCE!!!
I said to him, you brought me into this Forest at 5am because you wanted to teach me this lesson? HE SAID, BECAUSE I WANT YOU TO REMEMBER IT!...AND BROTHER, I STILL REMEMBER IT!!!
HE SAID, DL MOODY SAID, IF I CAN TAKE A MAN OR A WOMAN AND KEEP THEM QUIET FOR 5 MINUTES AND LET THEM THINK ABOUT THEIR SOUL....I'LL GET THEM SAVED!
THE PROBLEM WITH US IS, NOBODY GETS QUIET LONG ENOUGH UNTIL IT'S TOO LATE!
The Scriptures has a lot to say about this…. Isaiah 30 verse 15 says; "For Thus said The Lord GOD....(Now listen because this is so powerful)... "For Thus said The Lord GOD, The Holy One of Israel....GOD IS MAKING A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT HERE.... “In RETURNING and REST SHALL YOU BE SAVED... IN QUIETNESS AND CONFIDENCE SHALL BE YOUR STRENGTH."
THERE IS A LOT IN THE BIBLE ABOUT THIS.
Psalms 62 please turn with me. I'm showing you Scriptures to prove to you my point because I believe that if you start to do this today by next week you'll be a powerhouse! DO YOU KNOW WHAT I WANT? I WANT THAT WHEN YOU WALK INTO A ROOM ALL DEVILS WILL LEAVE LIKE COWARDS! BUT FOR THIS TO HAPPEN....YOU NEED THE POWER OF GOD ON YOUR LIFE!
DO YOU KNOW THIS IS HOW KATHERINE KUHLMAN GOT THE ANOINTING...BY BEING QUIET!

LOOK, EVEN THE DEVIL KNOWS THIS STUFF! THAT'S HOW THEY DO IT IN THEIR RELIGIONS! THEY SIT THERE AND HUM! AND BE QUIET FOR LONG PERIODS AND THEN THEY DO SUPERNATURAL STUFF THAT'S ALL DEMONIC! BUT WHAT DO THEY DO FIRST? Be QUIET!!!

O HOW APOSTLE PAUL WOULD WISH HE COULD HAVE HAD AN iPhone! Think what Paul the apostle would have done with an iPhones, or a CD or an iPad to play music?

EMPTY WORDS WILL WEAR YOU OUT!...YOU COME INTO PRAYER AND YOU'VE GOT THIS LONG LIST OF PRAYER REQUESTS AND BY THE TIME YOU'RE DONE WITH YOUR OWN PRAYING....YOU ARE WORN OUT!!!...If you get worn out you don't want to do that again!!!
You see, people have these prayer meetings and they wear themselves out by screaming and hollering and jumping and singing....BUT THERE'S NO PRAYERS!....IT'S ALL FLESH!!!!...IT'S ALL PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND THERE'S FLESH, THERE'S NO POWER THERE!!!
WAITING UPON THE LORD MEANS...BE STILL UNTIL GOD QUICKENS YOU AND ONCE HE QUICKENS YOU, TRUE PRAYER WILL BE BORN, AND WHEN TRUE PRAYER IS BORN BY THE SPIRIT?THERE WILL BE POWER!!!!
The Bible has a lot to say about this! THE WORD OF GOD SAYS BE SILENT, WHY?
?BECAUSE SILENCE BRINGS THE INFILLING OF GOD’S SPIRIT
?SILENCE IS THE *DOOR TO THE POWER OF GOD....
Zechariah 2:13 says ... Let's Look at Zechariah 2:13; I'm almost done, I had to get this through to you because I really want you to know the PRESENCE OF GOD.... ?THE PRESENCE OF GOD WILL NEVER BE KNOWN BY NOISE, ?THE PRESENCE OF GOD IS
KNOWN BY STILLNESS!
BE STILL, THEN YOU'LL KNOW ME! IF YOU'RE NOT STILL, YOU'LL NEVER KNOW ME!
BE STILL AND YOU'LL RECEIVE STRENGTH! IF YOU'RE NOT STILL, THERE'S NO STRENGTH! It's that simple! Nobody teaches on this today WHY? Because nobody want to be bothered with it! Thank God your Pastor teaches on this and other Pastors do. But this is God's Word that I am giving to you.

If I were going through my divorce again one more time I'd need that message, if I had a problem or a lawsuit, it's a good message to encourage me. But if my son or a daughter or a family member dies it'll crumble so fast...If I had a real tragedy that message would have no meaning for me WHY? BECAUSE THERE'S NO JESUS in it! It's all about *you can make, *you can win, God is on *your side...ALL THAT EMPTY STUFF...BUT NO JESUS!

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST. One I think is dangerous and the other I think is safe!
?You can be filled with The Holy Ghost in a group in a church where there Is a great move of God, but that's dangerous because that infilling came because of the people around you and you are dependent now on getting filled Only in a revival meeting!
But there's another way to get filled...
?IN QUIETNESS! THAT'S THE SAFE WAY TO GET FILLED WHEN YOU'RE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD AND YOU'RE NOT DEPENDENT ON THE EMOTIONS OF THE CROWD.
DID YOU HEAR WHAT I JUST SAID? BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE WILL GET FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST BUT THEY NEED A SERVICE, A PRAYER MEETING OR A REVIVAL TO GO TO, WHICH MEANS,THE INFILLING IS DEPENDENT ON SOME SERVICE THEY HAVE TO GO TO!
I DON'T NEED SERVICES TO GET FILLED....(neither Do I, Prophetess)....I'll be filled when I'm in my room listening to these songs I just played....(As for me Prophetess, I'll be filled just Staying in HIS Presence working and meditating with Him all day, etc.)... And when I walk out, I'm like a giant! Because The Power of God Is all over me! (45:42)

IT'S IS OUR HIGHEST DESTINY!
WORSHIP BEGINS IN STILLNESS! GOD CREATED THE SOUL which is the seat of our personality, the seat of our consciousness...BUT THE SOUL MUST BE STILL BECAUSE IT CANNOT WORSHIP,WORSHIP IS SPIRIT, WORSHIP IS NOT SOUL....AND, ?WHEN WE WORSHIP, THE SOUL NOW SUBMITS TO THE SPIRITUAL REALM RATHER THAN THE PHYSICAL REALM. ??BECAUSE WHEN I DON'T WORSHIP, THE SOUL IS PULLED INTO THE FLESH AND THE REALM OF THE FLESH...SO IT SUBMITS TO THE FLESH BUT WHEN I WORSHIP, IT SUBMITS TO THE SPIRIT! SO HE GETS INTO HIS PRAYER ROOM AND HE WAITS! THEN HE SAYS, WHAT HE'S NOT AWARE OF IS, AS HE'S WAITING AND HE'S PLAYING HIS WORSHIP MUSIC THAT HE SHARED WITH US EARLIER,HIS SPIRIT IS GETTING CLOSER BUT PHYSICALLY, HE'S UNAWARE THAT HIS SPIRIT IS GETTING CLOSER BECAUSE THERE'S NOTHING, NO MOVEMENTS HAPPENING PHYSICALLY!
But SPIRITUALLY, THE FLESH IS FIGHTING!!! THE FLESH IS FIGHTING BECAUSE MY MIND IS WORN OUT, MY BODY IS WORN OUT, MY BODY YEARNING....THEN I GET HUNGRY, I WANT TO DO THIS, I WANT TO DO THAT, THAT'S BECAUSE THE FLESH FIGHTS! IT DOES NOT WANT YOU TO MAKE IT INTO THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD! THAT'S BECAUSE YOU ARE ABOUT TO BE DELIVERED FROM IT! BUT THE LONGER HE WAITS THE CLOSER TO THE THRONE HE GETS AND HALF WAY IS BREAKING POINT...HALF WAY IS WHERE HE'LL BE *QUICKENED...BUT HE'S UNAWARE HE'LL BE *QUICKENED! <KEY)!....
SO NOW, HE'S BEEN ON HIS KNEES IN THE BLESSED ATMOSPHERE FOR 20 MINUTES AND HE'S NOT SAYING A WHOLE LOT! AND IF HE SAYS SOMETHING, HE'S ACTUALLY A HINDRANCE TO THE SPIRIT! SO HE'S GOT TO BE QUIET!!! I have to do what The Bible says! I simply am QUIET!!! QUIET MEANS QUIET!
So there's worship playing in his prayer room from his iPad or he connects his phone to speakers through Bluetooth and he's just Waiting!!! ABOUT THIS DISTANCE WHICH LOOKS LIKE HALF WAY....Look what starts to happen- kick up in his flesh....HE SAYS, HIS STOMACH STARTS TO WANT FOOD, AND I'M REALLY GETTING TIRED AND I'M WONDERING IF GOD IS WATCHING, IS HE PAYING ATTENTION?..IF I MAKE THE MISTAKE AND YIELD TO MY FIGHTING FLESH AND SAY WELL, MAYBE I BETTER GO GET A GLASS OF WATER AND GETS UP FROM THERE, THINKING HE'LL *FEEL BETTER...HE EXPLAINS, WHAT HE DOES NOT KNOW IS HE CANNOT COME BACK INTO THE POSITION HE LEFT, HE HAS TO START FROM THE BEGINNING ALL OVER AGAIN! SO I HAVE TO WAIT TILL I BREAK THROUGH!!!!...
?SO A FLIPPANT VULNERABLE LACK OF SELF CONTROL JUST COST HIM TO LOOSE HALF AN HOUR INTO THE MANIFEST PRESENCE OF THE LORD! That flesh will fight you! You must subdue it's every impulse and suggestions...(Never leave phones On in this place, or allow people to be able to disturb you in this place!).... NEVER LEAVE! WAIT UNTIL YOU BREAKTHROUGH!
40 MINUTES HAVE PASSED AND NOTHING HAS HAPPENED THAT I CAN TELL... BUT GOD IS DOING IT AND I'M NOT ABLE TO INTERFERE because it's All spiritual NOW But THE FLESH CANNOT SEE THE DIFFERENCE!
SUDDENLY, WITHOUT ME KNOWING, ABOUT 45 MINUTES INTO THIS, HE STARTS CRYING!!!
?TEARS IS THE SIGN OF QUICKENING, WHEN THAT HAPPENS, EVERYTHING CHANGES! NOW I CALL JESUS WITH TRUTH, FROM MY SPIRIT AND NOT FROM MY FLESH!....
BACK THERE, I WAS HUMMING STUFF AND MUMBLING STUFF AND REPEATING STUFF....
THEN FINALLY I GOT QUIET LONG ENOUGH THAT GOD COULD QUICKEN ME!!
THE MORE YOU TALK, THE MORE HE DOES NOTHING! IF YOU TALK, HE WILL NOT MOVE BECAUSE HE HAS SAID IN HIS WORD....?BE STILL!....AND BE STILL MEANS BE QUIET!!!
SO NOW I'M QUICKENED!
WHEN I'M QUICKENED, WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND OR REALISE IS THAT I'VE PASSED FROM THE OUTER COURT TO THE HOLY PLACE!
IN THE HOLY PLACE, I LIFT UP MY HANDS AND PRAISE! AND WHEN I PRAISE, EVERYTHING IN ME NOW EXPLODES! IT'S NOW THE SEEKING REALM, IN THE OUTER COURT IS THE ASKING REALM...Remember Jesus said ask, seek, knock! HERE IS THE SEEKING. REALM AND WHEN I'M SEEKING THE LORD, MY HEART EXPLODES ONTO JESUS...
NOW I'M ABOUT 45-50 MINUTES, AND AT THIS POINT, IT FEELS LIKE ONLY 3 MINUTES BECAUSE NOW, HERE TIME MEANS NOTHING!
IN THE OUTER COURT TIME MEANT EVERYTHING, HERE IT MEANS NOTHING! THEN FINALLY, SOMETIMES ABOUT AN HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES, I'VE REACHED THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD and I am COMPLETELY WRAPPED IN GLORY! AT THIS POINT, THERE'S SUCH FELLOWSHIP AND SUCH BEAUTY, IT'S LIKE I'M REBORN! AND WHEN I LEAVE HIS PRESENCE, WHICH HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES, ANYONE WHO SEES ME SAYS; YOU'VE BEEN WITH THE LORD! BECAUSE THEY CAN TELL! THAT'S BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS CALM! AND, THE THING IS, YOUR WORDS ARE DIFFERENT! NOW YOU LOVE YOUR ENEMIES! OVER THERE YOU HATED THEM! NOW YOU LOVE THEM! THAT'S BECAUSE WITHOUT THE PRESENCE OF GOD YOU CANNOT LOVE ANYBODY! NOW YOU FORGIVE SO EASILY! OVER THERE YOU. WANTED TO KILL THEM ALL! HERE YOU FORGIVE THEM ALL! BECAUSE NOW BEING IN GOD'S PRESENCE HAS MADE THE DIFFERENCE!
