Practice Gratitude With Malya, 8th Edition

Happy Rosh Chodesh Tamuz.?

What is Gratitude and what is happiness??Let’s define the basics.?

Gratitude is the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.

Happiness is a sense of well-being, joy, or contentment.

These two are connected very much to each other. If one of the definitions of happiness is contentment and part of gratitude is being grateful for what you have, well, there is the proof that happiness and gratitude go together.

So, if? you want more happiness in your life, it's simple, just increase your gratitude. I want you to take a break for the next five minutes. Stop reading. All I want you to do is focus on all of the things you have! I want you to start looking around and being grateful for all of those things that you see!?

Now, how do you feel? I want you to remember this moment: Are you feeling more relaxed? Happier? Or, are your emotions changing in any way? Are you starting to appreciate more of the things around you??

I want you to sit with this idea and practice gratitude right now to see if you become happier throughout the day!?

Now, why is it so important to be happy? The simple answer is, that we all want to live a happy and fulfilling life. But, what are some of the deeper benefits of being happy??

People like to be around happy people, but there are also proven scientific benefits to being happy.

  1. It can enhance your productivity. When you are happy you are able to produce more.?
  2. When you are happy you want to live a healthier lifestyle. You eat healthier, go to the gym, and promote better health.?
  3. Being happy can actually improve your immune system. It is said that happier people are more resistant to colds and it has been proven that happier people heal faster from wounds.?
  4. It has been proven that happier people live longer!?Yes, you heard that right!

Now, after reading all of the facts above, don’t you want to fall into the category of happy people?

The one fact that I want to focus on is that happier people give more to others. What does this have to do with anything? Well, this past month, Chodesh Sivan, has a very particular energy. It is the energy of receiving. A very important aspect about this kind of receiving is that in order for us to be able to receive and tap into this energy during this month, we have to be a vessel that can actually hold what we are about to receive. To connect the two, in order to be able to give to others and help others be happy, we must be happy ourselves first!?

Here is a very interesting clip on the Science Of Happiness that I hope you will watch.?

As I look back at this past month, I continue to see how my personal life connects so well with the energy of Sivan. B"H, I was able to receive so much this past month and I am so grateful for that! I felt as if so much good was pouring into my life this month and I kept saying Thank you Hashem for everything you are giving me. I just want the good to continue! Baruch Hashem this month has been a very good month for me.

I interviewed strangers in the street, I surprised a fan by giving her a sweatshirt from my merch, I on-boarded 5 new clients, I marketed Shimon Berkowitz 's company, Poly Maven Inc at the JFood show, I trained with the army, and I received a gift from one of my Linkedin connections, Wes Yosef Herrera ; he sent me his Movant Dish.

Baruch Hashem I have been able to receive this month. By studying about this month, I learned that if one was broken or negative, they would not be able to receive anything good. B"H after a few challenging months, I am finally full. I knew where I belong and I became a good vessel to receive.

?Today is Rosh Chodesh Tamuz. Let’s look briefly into the energy of this new month. Tamuz stands for a time for teshuva is slowly coming.

Meaning, that this is the beginning of the time of teshuva. Elul is almost here. Chazal says, that when Mashiach comes the month of Tamuz will become a month of joy. Since Mashiach is not here yet, we have to work very hard during this month of Tamuz to stay happy.?

I wish you all tremendous Hatzlacha during this month, and may we be zoche to see Mashiach soon in our days!?
