Practice Gratitude With Malya; 14th Edition

Practice Gratitude With Malya; 14th Edition

Happy Rosh Chodesh Teves.?

I do not want Kislev to end, it has been one of the best months I have had so far!

Right now, I am sitting and writing this newsletter while reading from my gratitude notebook. I try every morning to write down 5 things that I am grateful for. Re-reading them now just feels so good and it reminds me how blessed I am to have had an incredible month, Baruch Hashem.?

Let me remind you why I started this newsletter. I started it because I want to help people become happier with themselves. I researched, how can someone be happier? Everything leads back to gratitude. People who practice gratitude on a consistent basis have a 35% decrease in depressive thoughts.?

I, Malya Adina Feivelson, am on a journey to be the best person I can be, to be the happiest version of myself that I can be, and to feel the most fulfilled. When I realized the power of gratitude, I could not just sit back and keep that power to myself, I had to share it with you all.?

I want to encourage you to get yourself a notebook and leave it by your bed. Every morning before you get out of bed, write down 5 things you are grateful for. At the beginning, you may write down basic things, which you are grateful for. But, you will see that after a few weeks of writing, you will start to be grateful for the smallest things that you never realized before!?

Why was this month extra special to me? I honestly think it is because of gratitude. I am writing my own gratitude journal as I said previously, but with everything going on in the world, I stopped writing down my 5 things. Until, one day this month, I decided to pick it up and write again.?

Guess what? It changed my view on the world and it brought me back to a happier palace like it always does.?

The days I choose to practice gratitude really make a difference in my life. So, please, I encourage you to do the same. Let us together as a group start practicing gratitude consistently so we can build up the morale of humanity each individual at a time.?

I started off this new month doing what I absolutely love:?

I was marketing/networking for a company who was exhibiting at a trade show in NYC. The day was none other than Rosh Chodesh Kislev.

?I know this because one of the booths brought in donuts in honor of Rosh Chodesh! I started off my month on a high note, and that is how my month finished as well and iyh it shall continue this way!?

Working for Gilad Freimann for his company VAA Philippines was such an honor. As I watched Gilad interact with the attendees at the show, I learned that one can be very successful and extremely humble at the same time. It was incredible to see his humility throughout the two days that I worked for him.

?

I took a few minute break towards the end of the show to sit by the water and just thank Hashem for helping me create my vision. I have been working hard these past few years to create freedom for myself and as I sat there, I finally felt that.?

If you're in a job you dislike, you do not have to be there. The world is open to you to create anything that it is you want. I never wanted to get a job because I had a vision of what I wanted and I realized that if I work for someone, I will be building their dream, instead of mine.?

Later on in the month I worked 2 more shows. One in NJ and one in Staten Island. They too were incredible. I worked on both of these shows for the talented Zevy Lamm for his company JSuccess .

I brought along my personal photographer who made sure to take pictures of everyone we met. After the show, Zevy Lamm sent those people the pictures, it was truly amazing. Zevy Lamm is such a hard worker and has done so much in the past 6 months. 7 months ago JSuccess did not exist, and now his platform has over 1,000 members with over 200,000 people in his network.

He is helping business owners achieve more, by giving them tools in personal and business development. Go check out his site - JSuccess.net

This month I also did a fun photoshoot for myself. Some people hate getting their picture taken, but I love it. It makes me smile, so I did that for myself this month and it felt good. Thank you Abi and Menachem (Mendy) Green !

I was never into self care because for me, I was always doing what I loved; I was creating my future. But, I recently bought myself a few things and everyday I open a new present. It just feels good.?

So now, I made it a thing that after I complete a trade show, I treat myself to something. I do this because I work with my clients for months and once the job is done and a success, we must celebrate that!?

When I say I do a trade show, I don’t mean that I just show up and stand at my clients booth.?

I arrange everything for the booth from A-Z. I seek out unique products for promotional items that fit with what their company does. I make sure they have everything for their physical booth, backdrop, table, table cloth, chairs..

?I work with my clients for months, to ensure that every person standing at the booth has an individual role to play to make the show a success. I assign those roles to the staff or I bring along my own team. I have Baruch Hashem, 5 incredible people who work for me who I bring along to trade shows as needed. I figure out the goals for each client and I make sure that during the show, we are hitting those goals. As well as, making sure that everyone at the show understands the pitch that I create for the team and can execute it properly.?

It’s a lot of work, but so fulfilling!?I absolutely love being an entrepreneur.??

But,

Entrepreneurship is not for everyone, so if you have a career and you’re happy, keep it. But, I see too many unhappy people and for those I say: 1. Keep a gratitude log in a notebook 2. Figure out what you want out of life and go after it. 3. Take care of yourself. When you accomplish something big, treat yourself, even with something small.?

To end off this month with chanukah is truly special because it sticks with the theme of how I was feeling this month. The theme of dreams coming true! Kislev is a month of light and miracles. My message to you is think of what you want to accomplish in life, write it down, and go after it!?

My one ask is if you can share this newsletter with at least 3 people. Help me spread the power of gratitude!?

Happy Rosh Chodesh Teves.
