Practical Learning Module Innovation Ready to launch in 2022
When we think of the word education, we often think of formal education, such as learning from books or studying in a classroom. But when studying, it’s important to get a hands-on understanding of the subject and how the theory you learn applies to real-life situations. Can you imagine someone teaching you to swim or ride a bicycle, only in a theoretical way and within four walls of a classroom? It is impossible!! You have to get into the water to learn swimming and you have to be out on the road to learn cycling. Practical learning or learning by doing is something that we are taught from childhood. We have learned many things in our life by trial and error. From the mistakes we have made, we have learned how to do it properly. It is a natural learning approach from where we develop our knowledge and skills, our behavior, and our experience.
Depending on the study and source, between 80 % and well over 90 % of all accidents at work are behavior-related and avoidable. But you can hardly reach people at this behavioral level through pure theory training, at least not in such a way that you can influence their actions. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to make hazards and risks transparent, in order to achieve better awareness and perception and thus to bring about a sustainable positive change in people safety behavior. The experienced-based safety training method offers an ideal basis for learning through trial and error how accidents occur, what the consequences of unsafe work behavior are, where the dangers are to be expected, and what measures can be taken to prevent accidents at the workplace.
The safety training modules are similar to the machines and equipment used in the real workplace. The only difference is that these modules are equipped with special features to activate the sensory perception of the employees. Experiencing and learning through the 5 human senses such as touching, hearing, seeing, smelling, and sometimes also tasting will have a huge impact to increase the retention rate. This is not an exhibition, but something to try out and go through by every employee.
Individual learning stations for high-risk activities, that can simulate the tragedies of previous work accidents such as from Working at Height with a fall through opening experience and a guardrail collapse scenario, Electrical Safety Experience incl. a testing station for Lockout/Tagout exercise, a Confined Space Tank with emergency rescue experience, or Excavation Works to feel the dangers of a real wall collapse scenario.
A new innovation is ready for release in 2022. The new module integrates 4 different physical learning experiences with an integrated Virtual Reality Function. The first of its kind is going to be installed in the Hyundai Motors Headquarters in South Korea in 2022.

Thus, we are able to provide a new technology for our customers seeking an integrated solution to save cost and space.
Practical education is a very effective way to gain knowledge and skills to work safely. In summary, you can say that the areas of application in the field of practical safety training are immense and do not only relate to the construction business.?
Further examples of practical learning applications can also be found for children's safety, safety at home, safety on the way to school, road safety, safe driving, etc., or in the field of natural disaster training. There are no limits to creativity in improving safety awareness through practical training methods.
Books give you knowledge but experience teaches your life lessons.
