Practical deuteration of acyl chlorides into deuterated alcohols

Since 2004, at ATLANCHIM PHARMA , we have used various methodologies described in the literature and developed our own [1], to prepare over 300 labelled compounds (D, 13C, 1?N, 3?S). We are also very attentive to new methodologies, especially for deuteration. Very recently, An and coll. published an efficient single electron transfer reductive deuteration of acyl chlorides to the corresponding deuterated alcohols using EtOD-d? as a deuterium source.
