New date and hour dimensions - Now available across both Google Analytics 4 explorations and reporting customization. The following definition should help you understand what?this change means. (source)
Custom dimensions/metrics in reports - You can now add custom dimensions and metrics to your custom reports as primary dimensions, enabling you to more easily report on custom information that's important to your business.?(source)

???RIP Similar audiences - Similar audiences will stop being generated in May 2023 and be removed automatically on August 23.
What's next? For?Search?and?Shopping?campaigns, you can reach your most valuable customers using the predictive power of?"Smart Bidding"?which automatically leverages?signals from your first-party data [...] So even as observable data may become less available, you can trust that automation can help you drive strong results.
What does it mean? It feels more like both smart bidding and audience expansion will take the lead to discover people who are likely to convert + additional changes in the API.
With?product feeds for Discovery ads?now?available?in beta, advertisers can show shoppers items based on their interests and intent.?(source)

Shopify Automatic Discounts - Be aware, your Shopify discounts will automatically appear on the Shopping tab and automatic discounts and discount codes will sync to Google.?( Kevin Kaneria )

Animated Ads - Microsoft Bing seems to be testing animated ads in the Bing image search interface. Does this ad look like an interactive banner ad or sort of an MS Pmax? (source)

Web to App Connect - To help advertisers more easily set up their cross-platform conversion tracking, Web to App Connect, a toolkit that guides advertisers through the process step by step, is available in alpha beta and will be available in beta early next year. (source)

Goog is introducing an evolution to the Ads Data Hub core platform by introducing two dedicated solutions (source)

(2) Ads Data Hub for Measurement Partners?gives partners a new access point to provide YouTube measurement services on behalf of marketers, advertisers, agencies, or publishers.
Campaign Manager
GMP API v202211 - ?This release lays the groundwork for multiple third-party impression-tracking URLs. ImageCreative?and other creative types replaced the string field?thirdPartyImpressionTrackingUrl?with the list field?thirdPartyImpressionTrackingUrls. Currently, only a single URL can be provided in the list.

DV360 API Changes - On November 7, 2022,?optimized targeting?will gradually begin replacing?targeting expansion?for display, video, and audio line items under a Display & Video 360 partner, with the new feature launched for all partners by November 9, 2022. We will be making changes to the Display & Video 360 API to reflect this.
