Google Ad Manager announced Confirming Gross Revenue, a new solution that gives buyers and publishers a privacy-safe way to verify that no hidden fees are taken from digital advertising transactions.
The publisher can use the new Revenue Verification Report to see the aggregate gross revenue received from a specific buyer. Then the buyer and the publisher can verify the media cost from the buyer’s reporting matches the gross revenue the publisher received. If the numbers match, the buyer can confirm that their full media spend reached the publisher and no hidden fees were taken. (source)

Guru Hariharan shared how the newly released InsiderIntelligence report shows that "2022’s growth is markedly lower than previous estimates, which makes sense with some of the temporary difficulty we’ve seen earlier this year in online sales. But 2023 and onwards are more optimistic"
Mike Ryan shared that "clicks grew 12% YoY in Q2, the slowest growth in 2 years. Bear in mind, the YoY effects are tricky in Q2, since that's pegged to Q2 2021, which saw sustained ecomm bubble effects as the pandemic wore on, and those numbers are pegged to Q2 2020 — which started this whole mess."
