ProProcess Automation & Electrical (PPAE) is an electrical panel builder that supplies motor control centres (MCCs), industrial control panels (ICPs), programmable logic control panels (PLCs), remote input and output panels (RIO), industrial control panels and any other LV switchgear or instrument related equipment, especially for turnkey projects in the mining industry throughout Africa.
PPAE is a subsidiary of the ProProcess Group. “We focus on system integration and automation by supplying rapidly deployable electrical and instrumentation skid-mounted or containerised switchgear,” explains GM Hendrik Nel.
It has extensive experience in a range of commodities, especially copper and gold for a major mining house in Africa. These have ranged from substations to isolated panels and control system-oriented equipment, highlighting PPAE’s versatility and ability to customise solutions according to client needs. The collaboration was not limited to direct orders from the mining house, but also included intermediary projects. In total, PPAE has completed over 100 projects since 2017.
