A Resounding Success in London

The inaugural BBVA Institutional Conference in London brought together key players in the financial industry, almost 300 attendees at Mansion House in the City of London, highlighting BBVA's growth trajectory, unwavering focus on sustainability, and optimistic outlook for the UK market. The conference was supported by esteemed speakers including Lord Mervyn King, former Governor of the Bank of England, and the Rt Hon George Osborne, former Chancellor of the Exchequer. The audience was also addressed by BBVA's CEO, Onur Genc ; the Global Head of Sustainability and CIB, Javier Rodriguez Soler ; the Global Head of Institutional Business, Juan Blasco ; and Anselmo Andrade , Head of BBVA Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) UK. Financial Sponsors play an essential role in global economic activity, as they contribute to making many projects a reality in capital-intensive sectors that are relevant to society, such as transport infrastructure, telecommunications or energy transition, among others, complementing the public investment.
