??Powering the Future: Evonity Responds to the European Green Deal??

We are witnessing history in the making as the European Parliament takes another stride in the execution of the #EuropeanGreenDeal.

The goal? To make our continent largely climate-neutral by 2050. A new regulation mandates member states to install enough charging stations for electric vehicles on major roads.

By 2026, every 60 kilometers will need to feature a station equipped with fast chargers of at least 400 kW (kilowatt) capacity for cars, ramping up to 800 kW by 2028. Stations for trucks and buses, spaced every 120 kilometers, will need to offer charging capacities ranging from 1400 kW to 2800 kW.

At #Evonity, we believe in embracing change and leading from the front. As pioneers in charge point manufacturing, we are already gearing up to meet these new obligations. We are excited to announce that we are upgrading our current hyperfast chargers to align with these new requirements.

While the current standard for public or private charging points in cities is around 11 or 22 kW, we're preparing for a future where we go above and beyond these norms. We are committed to helping create a greener, more sustainable future.
