POWERFUL STEPS TO WIN

POWERFUL STEPS TO WIN

RAISING OUR HANDS

  • All would probably raise our hands if we were honest about this question.
  • Have you ever found yourself repeating self-sabotaging behaviors?
  • We are humans, so we all do.?
  • Our brains are wired that way. We repeat good things like brushing our teeth and getting up on the same side of the bed.?
  • The same goes for mistakes or habits we would rather?not?repeat.

Yet to be human is to make mistakes.

Many of us are baffled and don't understand why we may repeat the same mistakes again and again.

STOP BEING SO HARD ON YOURSELVES

? Lawyers can be unnecessarily too hard on themselves.

? Being harsh or a perfectionist will result in your being frozen or paralyzed, and nothing gets accomplished.

? Here are five things that can help you gauge whether or not you are repeating behaviors that are not in your best interest.

Five Steps to Help You Avoid self-sabotaging behaviors?

? Step No. 1:??

Avoid?

People and situations that cause you to stay upset or angry or who influence you to spiral out of control.

? Instead:?

Be around encouraging and supportive people who empower you to be your best self.

? Step No. 2:?

Avoid

Playing it safe, remaining stagnant, and always staying within your comfort zone.

? Instead:

Seek growth, challenge yourself, and be open to change. One consistent thing in life is "change."

? Step No 3:?

Avoid

Setting goals that are really low or even worse, not setting goals at all, or remaining stagnant or stuck.

? Instead

Set goals that inspire you to seek new horizons that inspire and make you feel alive. Set yourself up with a support system so you can win.

? Step No. 4

Avoid?

Creating tension and conflict with spouses, romantic partners loved ones, friends, or coworkers. Dial down your criticism or demands.

? Instead

Go the extra mile to make your loved ones feel valued and important in. your life. Emphasize what they do right instead of what they do wrong.

? Step No. 5:?

Avoid

Trying to control others.?

? Instead

Lead by example instead of nitpicking, empower, and encourage them to be great.

Remember, we can always change and grow no matter how old we are.?

WHENEVER YOU MAKE A MISTAKE

Thanks for sharing Pamela DeNeuve! Habits are often overlooked because we do them every day but, when we add up the time spent doing these habits on a daily basis it's quite significant.? This is why it's so important to form good habits and work towards changing the ones that don't serve our highest good.? I resonate with your 5 Steps especially, "seek growth, challenge yourself, and be open to change. One consistent thing in life is "change." Change is the only way we can reach new levels of abundance.

Terrific post Pamela DeNeuve! Step Number 5 really resonated for me: "Lead by example instead of nitpicking, empower, and encourage them to be great. Remember, we can always change and grow no matter how old we are." ?And "forgiving yourself" as you mentioned is so important. I'm still working on that. :)
