Do you struggle to get to optimum health?

Maybe you have various allergies or intolerances?

Perhaps your productivity is being affected by frequent illnesses?


In my articles and posts I do my best to cover various ways to optimise your health and wellbeing.

Why?

It's obvious to me...but that's because I had to face my ignorance about health back in 1977, in my early 20's, when my health crashed.?

I have been helping improve people's health professionally for 35 years.

It's my vocation, not just a job!

Most people only delve into how they can improve their health through a health scare or body/mind falling apart in some way.

As entrepreneurs, we often prioritize productivity, innovation, and personal development to succeed in the fast-paced world of business. But one key factor that can be overlooked is our health—especially the food we eat. As much as we focus on maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs, investing in organic food?can be one of the smartest decisions an entrepreneur can make for their long-term success. Here's why:

1. Boost Cognitive Function & Focus

Entrepreneurs thrive on creativity and problem-solving, which requires mental clarity and focus. Organic foods, being free from harmful chemicals and synthetic pesticides, provide cleaner, nutrient-dense fuel for our brains. Studies have shown that consuming pesticide-laden produce can negatively impact cognitive function over time. By choosing organic, you’re essentially feeding your brain the highest quality fuel, which can help you stay sharp, focused, and more innovative.

2. Increased Energy Levels

The grind of entrepreneurship often leads to long hours and high demands on our bodies. Organic food, free from preservatives, additives, and artificial colors, is more aligned with our body’s natural processes, helping maintain stable energy levels throughout the day. When your body isn’t constantly processing chemicals, it can function more efficiently, leaving you feeling energized rather than lethargic.

3. Reduced Stress and Anxiety

Running a business can be stressful. Organic foods are often richer in antioxidants and essential nutrients like magnesium, omega-3s, and vitamins that help combat stress. Eating a balanced, organic diet can help regulate mood, reduce anxiety, and keep stress in check—all crucial factors when you’re making important decisions daily.

Entrepreneurs can't afford to lose valuable time due to illness. Organic foods are packed with nutrients and are free from harmful antibiotics and hormones commonly found in non-organic products. Healthy leaders build healthy companies.

Committing to eating organic food, will boost your health for the reasons given above. In addition, I would suggest eating 'rainbow vegetables'. That means changing the colours of the vegetables and fruit you buy and consume. What this does is ensure that you have a wider range of minerals (different colours mean different minerals) in your diet. Minerals are the building blocks of health and wellbeing. I'll write an article in due course about minerals and healthy living.


In the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship, staying ahead requires more than just hard work and dedication. By making the switch to organic food, you are not only improving your health but also boosting your productivity, mental clarity, and overall resilience. In the long run, this could be the competitive edge you need to not only survive but thrive in your entrepreneurial journey.
