Anissa joined LMA in October 2022 focusing on banking and finance recruitment and has pivoted to technical recruitment in 2024. She started her recruitment career straight after graduating from university and has been enjoying it since.

A Glimpse into Anissa’s Personal Life

I enjoy balancing work life with personal time that allows me to unwind and explore different interests. Over the weekends, I love curling up with a good book or binge-watching the latest shows on Netflix. It's a great way to relax and disconnect from the hectic pace of the week.

On weekdays, I like to treat myself to a drink or two after work. It's a nice way to catch up with friends or colleagues, or sometimes just enjoy a quiet evening with some drinks.

I also make it a point to travel, taking longer breaks from work. These trips, whether they're to new destinations or familiar favorites, provide a wonderful opportunity to recharge and experience different cultures and environments. They keep me inspired and refreshed, ready to tackle new challenges when I return.

A Memorable Recruitment Story

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, I was involved in recruiting for the overwhelmed healthcare sector. It was through this experience that I discovered my passion for recruitment. Matching the right candidates with essential roles allowed me to see firsthand the profound impact that effective recruitment can have. It was incredibly fulfilling to contribute to a process that not only met the immediate needs of healthcare facilities but also supported the dedicated professionals on the front lines. This experience solidified my belief that recruitment is a deeply meaningful and impactful career.
