#PowerBranding – Selling to Golfers

The AGA Program - the Amateur Golf Ambassadors Program for worldwide brand and product exposure...

Does your company (golf or corporate company) sell or want to sell to golfers worldwide? Not only do you get the above mileage but with the AGA Program you also get to see many of the fantastic South African golf courses available all round this beautiful country.... which adds colour and an interest factor to the videos thereby drawing in even more views.... which is a win win all round....

New stats have shown that video content on YouTube about golf related subjects get 20 times plus views and uptake than any other type of promotion.... time to make those changes!!!

The AGA Program can help you do that in a number of ways…

1/ By using or wearing your products at golf events...

2/ Promoting your brand on my clothing, accessories and vehicle...

3/ Posting content on a number of social media sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Clubface-Golf (a worldwide golf only based social media site)

4/ There is one 'difference' though as posting of the videos and static photos of each event are done in a very different (hybrid) way which brings Google’s algorithms into play which helps give preference to our posts, plus with each and every golf event (25 to 30 of them per year) adding to that preference.... this is what we call… #PowerBranding - this video directed approach targets every level of golfer worldwide which helps showcases your brand and products encouraging them to make the switch... or choose your products for their next buy.

This powerful #PowerBranding method will be shown to each company that comes onboard as a sponsor for a year which can then be applied by each company for their own ‘other’ branding and product social media posts... its a lot simpler than you think and its not SEO based... and know your company will benefit...

What sponsorship is required by the AGA Program (Me)

**Your product/s (Clubs, golf bag, balls, shoes, caps, attire). What equipment or products I would get from you would be your call but would have to be complete: Example: a full set of clubs & bag… a year’s supply of golf balls / box of 12 dozen… two pairs of golf shoes etc… with each 'deal' to be negotiated with the sponsors.

**Vehicle Companies (or a company prepared to sponsor one) a vehicle of your choice / new, used, demo for use over a year. A used vehicle would probably be better as all sponsor stickers and/or decals need to be used on the vehicle including your own - 'AGA Program sponsored by ...X...' with our logo, my name and your website.

**$250 (R4,500) per month (or more) from each sponsor but possibly more from organizations who do not have products to sponsor. These are mostly funds to cover travel and entrance fees – dependent on the number of companies/organizations that accept my offer will dictate the number and quality of events I will be able to travel to and compete in - entrance fees vary from $25 (R450) to +- $200 (R3,600) + fuel, food, toll roads to accommodation if traveling long distances to participate.

**Using golf events to promote companies and goods has always been done but it is the follow up hybrid #PowerBranding social media posts that does set it apart and draw eyes to your brand and to your products... multiply that with anything between 24 to 30 golf events to Pro-Ams per year (all at different golf courses around South Africa) that will be played and you can see the possibilities that they will present.

**Add to that the fact that I am an older golfer, fit, strong and play a very decent game which with more golf that I play will drop me to a low single HC and that will show up your products even more. So adding that to the #PowerBranding is what the AGA Program brings to the table... which on video promotion from each event will definitely gets eyes on your brand and more importantly... on your products.

So what do you get for sponsoring the AGA Program:

1/ As said, the AGA Program will display your company’s names and logos as 'sponsors' on my shirts, caps, bag and vehicle

2/ Actively promote your brand and products here in South Africa and worldwide online through social media...

3/ The AGA Program will launch a website 'The Amateur Golf Ambassadors Program' showing all the sponsors and will update the site after each event, in this way we will also have an AGA website link for each post for easy access by the golfing public and industry which will also include websites and contact details of each sponsor. This will ensure that golfers can connect directly with each sponsor when they want to or their distributors in each country.

All sponsors names and websites will be retained, even if after a year you choose to opt out for whatever reason... plus if I play at a charity golf event, that charity also gets space on the website with their website and contact details.... and for our tourism side, while pushing the amateur game at every opportunity each events golf course website and contact details will be added as will places of interest, accommodation in each area to help general incoming tourism to South Africa...

4/ If after a few months we are all getting the responses we want (coming out of South Africa & from our worldwide social media push) the AGA Program could… if required or requested by the sponsors, open up in other countries…. that is the plan but we will see!!!

To be fair to all prospective sponsors/partners - before the AGA Program is activated and starts working, I would need a minimum of five (5) companies to accept me as their ‘Amateur Golf Ambassador’ for a minimum time period of one calendar year which can be extend by each sponsor if happy with the results… so, please accept me, first in writing (email) and once I have the required 5 companies (or hopefully more) I will let you know and we can then proceed from there.
