Many salespeople are using too many words. Don't use 100 words when you could use 10.
You end up wasting your customer's time. They lose interest. They feel like you are only there for yourself. Your job is not to talk. Using more words than necessary will not make you seem more intelligent.
When you are succinct in your sales conversation, you sound more clear and more confident. But, the other by-product of that is that your customer feels HEARD.
