The Power of Vulnerability in Business Growth
Building a coaching business is often seen as a game of strategy, numbers, and execution. But what if the true breakthrough lies not in the office or online but in the depths of vulnerability?
Intimacy, whether in relationships or business, requires the courage to step into a space of openness. It's about exposing our authentic selves—not just the polished, confident facade but the imperfect, evolving human behind it.
As coaches, we often face moments where we feel an undefined pull—towards a vision, a partnership, or an idea that we can’t fully articulate but deeply desire. This pull is where growth begins. It invites us to embrace the unknown and let our needs and dreams guide us.
In the gravitational pull of vulnerability, clarity emerges.
We discover that the barriers to our next big success are often tied to our own ability—or inability—to trust, connect, and love the work we do and the people we serve.
When was the last time you opened up with a client or colleague, sharing not just your knowledge but your journey? Vulnerability creates resonance. It builds trust, inspires loyalty, and fosters the kind of relationships that fuel lasting success.
Today, take a moment to ask: Where can I invite more openness in my business? What doors might it unlock—not just for growth, but for a deeper connection to what truly matters?
Let’s build not just businesses, but bonds. Because when we dare to be vulnerable, we don’t just create success—we create meaning.
Love & Light,
Susan

2 个月What really resonated for me was sharing your journey with your clients or colleagues. I too was raised in an environment where vulnerability was considered a weakness. I've since realized and helped others see how it can be used as a form of strength to heal, grow, connect, and thrive. I call if vulnerability for progress. And you're absolutely correct @Susan, we don't just create success... we create meaning.

2 个月I agree because it always comes down to building relationships. Vulnerability can be scary and hard but it's also the piece I see that fosters the deepest connections. Openness can transform not just individuals, but entire teams!

2 个月What I see, the vulnerability is a blindspot, it is shaded in many culture in the minds. I come from Hungary. Here, and in many Eastern European countries, expressing your feelings, thoughts, representing yourself in a negotiation, in a discussion doesn't exist, it is out of sight. Moreover it looks selfish, or arrogant. By all means, it is a solution for many coaching topics, indeed. Unfortunately, as a coach I can not force it as a solution, I need to guide the coachees. In many cases the best solution is to show my vulnerability with stories or sharing my feelings. It helps the solution to pop up and creates a huge trust. So, I agree what you described.
