Start Strong with Funderburk Electrical Services

Funderburk Electrical Services has teamed up with the U.S. Department of Labor to bring you a robust apprenticeship program. It's more than learning the ropes; it’s about mastering them through 2000 hours of fieldwork and 144 hours in the classroom every year for four years. We start you off with a competitive starting wage, with increases as you complete milestones in the course.

Our training is comprehensive, backed by the Mike Holt Apprenticeship curriculum. Plus, we believe in giving credit where it’s due—our top apprentices take home a $1,000.00 reward for their standout work each year. The program fee is $250.00 annually, which covers all your materials, including a wealth of Mike Holt video content and online tests.

Veterans, your service has prepared you to tackle new challenges, and we’re ready to support you through your GI Bill. If you've got your high school diploma or GED and the drive to dive into a solid trade, you're the perfect fit. We started this program in 2009, and since then, we’ve seen our apprentices’ become leaders and skilled service technicians. With 38 apprentices already on board, we’re on the lookout for 25 to 30 more to join the ranks this September.

Build Skills with South Ark's Apprenticeship Program

The South Ark Apprenticeship Program is all about giving you the tools to build a career while you work. Affiliated with NATF, our apprentices commit to a once-a-week, four-hour class, with the choice to join online or face-to-face. Stick with it—maintain a 70% grade and attendance, and you'll see your hourly wage increase each semester.

This four-year commitment is like to earning a degree, but you get paid to learn, with no tuition fees hanging over your head.
