THEME: THE POWER OF TWO CORDS: FASTING/PRAYER, AND THE STRENGTH OF GOD.

FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE:

"One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: ‘Power belongs to you, God.”

STARTOFF PRAYERS:

1. Forgiveness and Cleansing: LORD, I confess my sins and shortcomings. Forgive me for where I have fallen short of Your glory and heal me, in Jesus Christ's Name.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

2. Invite The Holy Spirit to help you.:

“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.”

Romans 8:26

3. Cover yourself, loved ones and your environment with The Blood of Christ:

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

INTRODUCTION :

Our foundation Scripture verse isn't a casual observation; it's a resounding declaration of a fundamental truth:

ULTIMATE POWER RESIDES SOLELY WITH GOD. This truth takes on profound significance when coupled with the spiritual disciplines of fasting and prayer. These two practices, when intertwined, becomes like two cords woven together, creating an unbreakable strength that draws us closer to THE VERY SOURCE OF All POWER.

Fasting and prayer are divine keys to accessing this power. They silence the noise of the flesh and awaken your spirit to God’s voice. Through fasting, you deny your physical appetite to strengthen your spiritual hunger, aligning yourself with God’s authority and enabling divine breakthroughs.

Every genuine fast infused with prayer becomes a battleground where strongholds are broken (Isaiah 58:6), destinies are realigned, and divine power is unleashed. When you fast and pray, you declare that your trust is not in human strength but in the GOD WHO HOLDS ALL POWER. This act of surrender invites heaven's intervention into earthly affairs, ensuring that no obstacle, delay, or opposition can withstand His Might.

Stop limiting God by relying on natural strength. His power is limitless and available to you. Fasting and prayer activates that power, making you a channel for God’s purposes on earth.

Fasting, in its essence, is a way of saying, "God, I need you more than I need anything else." It's a physical act that aligns our bodies with the yearning of our souls.

Prayer, on the other hand, is our direct communication line to God. It's the breath of our spiritual life, the channel through which we express our needs, our desires, our gratitude, and our adoration. It’s in prayer that we connect with the DIVINE POWER spoken of in Psalm 62:11.

This isn't about manipulating God or earning His favor. It’s about aligning ourselves with His will and drawing upon His limitless power. It’s about recognizing that true strength doesn't come from our own efforts but from our

CONNECTION TO THE SOURCE OF ALL POWER.

Psalm 62:11 reminds us where true power originates. It's not in our circumstances, our abilities, or our resources. IT'S IN GOD ALONE. And through fasting and prayer, we tap into that DIVINE POWER, experiencing a transformation that goes beyond our natural capabilities.

1. World Leaders:

Father, we lift up world leaders to You, asking that You grant them wisdom, discernment, and peace to lead with integrity. Guide them in making decisions that honor You and promote justice, in Jesus Christ's Name. 1 Timothy 2:1-2

5. For Marriages, Fruit of the Womb, and Finding Mates:

Heavenly Father, we lift up all marriages to You. Strengthen the bond between husbands and wives and bless them with love, understanding, and unity.

- We pray for those desiring the fruit of the womb, that You may bless them with children.

- Protection over existing marriages, You God, have joined together. Mark 10:9.

- For our sisters and brothers seeking their life partners, guide them to that partner You have chosen for them, that none will lack their mate.

- Divine connections and godly marriages

As Your Word also says in :

1 Corinthians 7:9

“But if they cannot control themselves, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.”

- Wisdom to recognize divine assignments as couples.

7. LORD, we lift up the less privileged to You. Provide for their needs, defend their rights, and bring comfort to their hearts. Use us as instruments of Your love and justice for them, in Jesus Christ's Name. Psalm 82:3

8. Those Needing Divine Intervention: We pray for those facing difficult situations, that they may experience God's miraculous intervention and deliverance. Psalm 34:17

9. Prayer for Physical and Spiritual Healing:

My LORD and my God, heal everyone on this prayer mountain today, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We claim the healing power of Christ over our bodies, spirit and minds, in Jesus Christ's Name.

Amen.

AFFIRMATIONS

1. I declare that God’s power is at work within me, exceeding all I can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
