The Power of Thoughts

The Power of Thoughts

Thoughts are possessions. They are powerful. They are preemptive. The very thoughts running through your mind can help to manifest the life of your dreams, or draw you closer to your greatest fears. But most people don’t realize the inherent power of their thoughts. We go about our lives steeped in one mindset or another, without the clear realization that whatever it is we think about or focus on consistently, we move towards.

“The Mind is everything, What you think you become” - Bhagwan Buddh.

Whether or not you believe this statement is rather subjective. The truth of the matter is that we are the product of our thoughts. Think, and you shall become. It’s part of the manifestation of our destiny. But not everyone holds to this credo. Not everyone believes in the fervent power of their thoughts. They brush it off while dwelling on the past or fearing the future, not quite understanding that the very things that they are thinking about, they are inching closer towards.

How you navigate through life and how you feel largely depends on your thoughts. Your thoughts are immensely powerful. They determine how you feel, your decisions and your actions – every part of your life that you can control. Your thoughts are one of the most powerful tools you will ever have in changing your life.

Everything begins in the mental plane first before it manifests in the physical plane.

You think to yourself first, "I would like some ice cream," then you get up and get yourself some ice cream. But it began in your mind with a thought. Each thought has a picture, sound, and color associated with it. Prolonged concentration on a thought eventually brings it into manifestation on the physical plane.

The longer you think about wanting an ice cream the stronger the thought-form becomes. As the thought-form becomes stronger, you start to speak it out loud. You may express this intention to someone by saying, "I feel like having some ice cream." As you think more about this and, hence, put more energy into the thought-form, you will start to manifest it in the physical plane.

Now you will stand up and say, "I’m going to go and get myself some ice cream."

So much of what is manifested in people's lives is a result of them repeatedly thinking about the same thing, more often than always unknowingly, thus bringing it into manifestation.

Last year, I met a well-known influencer/author at a private dinner in Gurugram City. I recognized who he was. He came up to me to introduce himself. After he had done so I shared my name with him. His immediate response was, "I’m really terrible at remembering names." I thought to myself, "I’m sure you are. That’s what you affirm to yourself inwardly and outwardly." You have become what you think and tell yourself. We are all guilty of this. I am too.

The key is to be observant of what we are thinking and stop ourselves from repeatedly thinking thoughts that are not aligned with the life we want to create for ourselves. To be observant, you must learn to concentrate.

If you’re serious about achieving your goals and accomplishing anything worth noting in life, then you have to leverage the power of your thoughts by shifting your thinking. Yet, it doesn’t happen overnight. For those that are serious, there is a pathway to achievement. As long as you can shift your thinking into the right direction, you can quite literally manifest your dreams. So how does this work? This multi-step process is born through the application of a few fundamental principles to help manifest and attract whatever it is that you want in your life. As long as you appreciate the power behind focused thoughts.

You can apply these steps, you can achieve anything – 1. Refine Your Focus, 2. Gain the Proper Perspective, 3. Set Meaningful Goals, 4. Find Ways to Add Value, 5. Follow a Detailed and Intricate Plan, 6. Effectively Manage Your Time, 7. Handle Your Bad Habits Before They Handle You, 8. Avoid Negativity Like the Plague, 9. Contribute Your Time To Others, 10. Stay Persistent No Matter What.

There will always be events and circumstances in your life that you cannot control. But if you learn to control your thoughts, your mood and behavior no longer depend on circumstances but on you. When you regain control over your thoughts, you regain control over your feelings and actions. Your thoughts shape your reality more than anything else. Therefore, not having control over your thoughts equals not having control over your life.

Be careful of what you think and how much energy you put into those thoughts, lest they manifest in your life.

 Always be at peace.
