The power of "thank you" in hospitality

How many times hospitality professionals and hoteliers are using the thank you word daily? For sure a difficult statistic and recount, but decided to share with you few insights and love to hear your experience, your use, your comments.
Being working in tourism for over three decades and executive management level had offered to me plenty of occasions on applying a sincere "thank you": to my honorable guests, to my growing executives, to my supportive staff, to our cooperative associates and many more.
Recent meetings with top-executives showed to me the power of this "thank you" had been applying for years: when you do think carefully and do apply a deeper sincere appreciation to whoever you are talking to, you do clearly see the reflection and positive feedback at any level, no distinction to whom are you talking about.
I invest my time today thanking dozens of comments congratulating me for the second anniversary working at Oakwood Worldwide, via LinkedIn and several other platforms. I do not look at the automatic reply or large invested comment, as a "thank you" has its value per se, and did reply one by one to every single colleague, hotelier, person for its time and its reminder on this anniversary.
Every one of your notes is highly appreciated, and appreciation via a "thank you" note in whatever language is the magical key which opens many doors in hospitality.
Do invite you try to thank your latest intern at the company as I did today, to thank your immediate superior, to thank your guest for choosing your property, to thank the smiling bellboy who did open that door, to thank the uniformed driver or the supplier who works on your project.
Let us know what you observe and feel. Cause we all learn from your "thank you".
Thanks to you, you know well who you are, your note makes the difference.
